I enjoy the experience of delivering an unmatched product, and helping others find their slice of paradise. I do bring much experience to real estate. I have been involved in several building projects of my own on St. John, and I know the process well. Also, I have experience in the short-term vacation rental of my own property. In addition, I spent 20 years as a mortgage broker, and hold an MBA in finance. In my spare time, I enjoy surfing with my son Alec, and monitoring my daughter Jane’s cell phone bills.

After visiting St John for many years, a surprise engagement while on vacation and a beachside wedding in August of 2004, Les and Dianne instinctively knew that they too would like to share a piece of the beauty and island spirit that is felt on St John. Over the next couple of visits they started looking for property and ultimately purchased their own island home with the idea that “someday” they would retire and enjoy all that St John has to offer. Well, while back in Kansas City and in the middle of yet another winter of minus degree weather, they decided that “someday” should become “now”. So they sold their home, sold their possessions and left their old careers, Les as a Data Processing Manager and Dianne as a World Ranked Ballroom Competitor, Judge and Coach and made the move to St John to pursue their new passion in Real Estate with Town and Country Real Estate. Greetings from Tropical America!

My name is Richard Baranowski I have lived on St. John my whole life and I'm happy to call it home. My roots in St. John began twenty six years ago when my parents Karen and Steve visited the picturesque island that they had heard so much about from friends while enduring the harsh Chicago winters. Like many people my parents fell in love with St. John's crystal clear waters, white sand beaches, warm weather, and small town charm. They knew this is were they wanted to raise a family, and start their new life. So when the opportunity to move to St. John presented it self, my parents pounced. They purchased a half acre in Coral Bay, packed up there stuff, said good bye to friends and family, and made there move to
St. John.

Growing up on St. John I attended the Guy H. Benjamin School and later graduated from The St. John School on Gift Hill. Through out high school I worked for my parents villa management company Windspree. This experience has left with me with a profound knowledge of rental properties on St. John. Working for my parent as well as the Lime Inn restaurant on weekends and after school has given me a strong work ethic that I intend to use to help you find your piece of paradise just as my parents did twenty six years ago.

Being a native of St. John I know every square inch of this gorgeous island and would love to share my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for this wonderful destination with you.
